The company was founded in 1898 with Arnold Bohren s plumbing and installation business. Over time, the heating installation and flat roof work branch was added 

In the 1980s, the business was expanded with the pipe cleaning service. Finally, in recent years we have also increasingly turned our attention to solar energy and have been able to expand our experience in this field.

Today, Thomas Ruoff is the 4th generation to run the company.

He trained as a plumber and plumbing fitter in the apprenticeship workshop in Bern and completed his training as a certified building services fitter in 2004.
