In May 2013, painter and color designer Rita Fröhlich (née Angst) founded the sole proprietorship Rita Angst Malerei & Gestaltung based in Uttwil on Lake Constance. After less than a year, the first employee joined the company with a 100% workload. The painting business became a two-woman operation.

In April 2015, we changed our legal form from a sole proprietorship to a limited company. This resulted in the current regional painting company ANGST Malerei & Gestaltung GmbH, which employs four female painters, two apprentice daughters and Rita Fröhlich-Angst's husband in administration & management.

Rita Fröhlich is currently attending master craftswoman school and is training for three years (2019-2022) to become a certified master painter.
