Supervision
Case supervision
Four eyes see more than two and no two clients are the same:
In case supervision, I support you or your team in reflecting on your own work in a differentiated way and thus ensuring or further developing its professional quality, but also in experiencing relief in challenging or stressful situations. It should help you to (re)open your own view in order to recognize and implement new perspectives, options for action or solutions.
I believe it is important that the client's individual characteristics, but also your unique relationship with this person, are recognized and appreciated. Supervision should take place in an appreciative and benevolent atmosphere that encourages you to show what is not going so well, where you experience blockages, insecurity or helplessness.
The focus for me is on the question of how your own existing skills and resources or those of your team can be utilized.
The focus is on how your own existing skills and resources or those of your team can be harnessed, where and what obstacles exist and what new or different skills could be helpful.
Contents include the specific therapeutic or counselling work in individual cases, but also the role and relationship dynamics between you and your clients, your own involvement in the therapeutic or counselling process and case-related collaboration in the team or organization.
Psychotherapy
My understanding of psychotherapy
Psychotherapy means developmental help that is intended to support you in (re)discovering, building up and being able to use your own "expert knowledge" about yourself
.In the sense of helping you to help yourself, the aim is to strengthen your skills and resources, to make helpful experiences accessible so that you can shape your life more autonomously and achieve a better quality of life.
An essential component of psychotherapy is the experience of self-efficacy and the empowerment to dare (more) to shape your individual, unique life.
On this basis, you can take the steps that suit you, your situation and your specific abilities.
When the goals you have set have been achieved is entirely up to your own experience and understanding. You therefore also decide how long and how much support you need or want, when you want to continue on your path without therapeutic support.
Central values and development goals in my work are
- Transparency and an authentic encounter characterized by appreciation and empathy
- Equal and careful cooperation at eye level
- Individual goal development with the inclusion of your values, ideas and beliefs
- Careful and respectful focus on your needs and opportunities within the framework of your private and professional system conditions
- Strengthening your awareness and mindfulness of your mental and physical needs
- Creating confidence and activating self-healing powers as well as unconscious powers and abilities
- Building up inner protective functions that can be helpful in dealing with painful, stressful experiences
- A holistic view of emotional, cognitive and physical processes and forms of experience and their interplay
My therapeutic cornerstones are
- Person-centered psychotherapy (according to Carl Rogers)
- The scientifically recognized modern hypnotherapy (according to Milton Erickson)
- Ego state therapy
- Focusing, relaxation techniques, imagination, mindfulness exercises
Coaching
What is coaching for?
Coaching focuses on the targeted development of possible solutions in connection with specific professional or private issues, change and decision-making processes or when facing particular challenges.
The targeted and solution-oriented coaching tailored to your specific situation supports you in promoting and expanding your skills, achieving clarification and strengthening your decision-making ability.
What I associate with coaching
The basis of my work in coaching is the fundamental assumption that all people want to develop further and be needed and valued in their private and professional lives and experience a sense of purpose. Personal prerequisites or contextual conditions, but also structural (institutional) "weak points" can have an obstructive or blocking effect and make it difficult or even sabotage the development of individual potential or the achievement of an institution's/company's goals.
The benevolent, appreciative view of all persons involved, their abilities and their (previous) attempts at solutions in a consulting context should enable you to take courage, take a close look, create transparency, rethink and, if necessary, create anew.- German
