Hand in hand with local partners, we are committed to helping the needy and forgotten of this world in over sixty countries on four continents. We work in the hotspots - where persecution of Christians meets spiritual and material need.Our mission consists of the following three areas of activity:Assisting persecuted ChristiansPersecution of Christians has many faces. Worldwide, well over 309 million people are discriminated, disowned, disinherited, mistreated, expelled, imprisoned, tortured or killed – simply because they want to follow Jesus and live their faith peacefully. AVC gives these people a voice and supports them practically: courageously, resolutely, effectively.Helping people in needPoor, without opportunities, without hope, without prospects: This is the life reality for billions of people. AVC helps in the areas of this world with structural poverty or in the middle of crisis, disaster, and war. And very close, in the forgotten countries of Europe.
