Garden centre Saanen Our plant centre is located right next to the church in Saanen. If you have never been here before, just follow the signs to "Kirche" in Saanen and you will find us easily. Four generations of carpentry Our company dates back to 1904 when Johann Staub started a small carpenter’s workshop in Rougement, before moving to Saanen in the following year. Almost forty years later the founder’s son took over the business. Hans Staub then started selling furniture as well. Once again, it was time for a further expansion.In 2007 an extension was added to the carpentry workshop. Then in 2011 the fourth generation took over the company. During all these years and successive generations our passion for wood as a material and our craftsmanship have remained unchanged – work which, despite all the technological developments, still places the skills of an individual person at the centre of the process.
