In 1st line from Spain and Morocco I fell in love with the beautiful, unique and velvety Jarapas Alpujarras during my trip in Andalusia. This is what these rugs are called in Spain. In the mountain villages of the Alpujarra they are a tradition and are still handmade on the loom as in the past. Each carpet is unique. Some are very similar, but none is exactly the same. The rugs are made mainly from cotton fabric scraps. Short hair or long hair carpets. Very popular are also those made of cotton mixed with jute. These are slightly heavier and stiffer. In this model, you have the choice of front and back the same or with a negative side. Then the colors are simply reversed on one side, and thus has 2 different rugs with the purchase of one.
