Il ravioli: La pasta troppo bianca per essere una pasta all'uovo come converrebbe per i ravioli. Troppo liscia e insapore. Il ripieno che doveva essere ai funghi porcini, non ne aveva né il sapore né il profumo. Molto deludenti. Migliori le orecchiette alle cime di rapa, che hanno fatto alzare il mio giudizio a sufficiente.

A charming place where the Cassarate River meets Lake Lugano, creating a romantic setting under the shade of three majestic centuries-old plane trees.Here, history merges with the life of the people of Lugano, offering a new culinary interpretation that celebrates the past with a fresh and contemporary vision, using high-quality ingredients preferably sourced from local suppliers.On the banks of the Cassarate River stood the Osteria del Porto, which over the years has earned the title of "Antica" (Ancient). Its centuries-old history dates back to the nineteenth century when it was a landing point for goods from barges.An Osteria, yes, but different: in tones, colors, and signs. A menu proposal between innovation and tradition, with the lake and mountains blending and meeting in the menus of Chef Domenico Rezza.We accompany the dishes with a selection of local and Italian wines, served with care by our dining staff. And then the special occasions, the happy hours, the exclusive terrace for private events. A venue constantly on the move, searching for new proposals, accompanied by smiles and authentic hospitality.

Das Restaurant ist sehr gut gelegen unweit vom Strand des Sees und zwischen zwei anderen Lokalen mit Gartenwirtschaft. Während der Autoshow letztes Wochenende ab und zu etwas sehr lärmig. Die tolle Bedienung vom charmanten Personal und die feinen und vielfältigen Speisen sowie Weine wogen dieses Manko jedoch mehr als auf. Wir genossen vom 03.09. - 05.09.21 viermal das Abendessen in diesem Lokal. Sehr empfehlenswert. Lieben Dank und Gruss von Margrith und Geri aus St. Gallen.

The Ristorante Grand Café Al Porto, located in the historic centre of Lugano, is the privileged meeting place in Lugano to enjoy a good coffee, breakfast sweet or savoury pastry creations - all day long an aperitif, a delicious lunch with business partners or friends, with fresh pasta and tasty Mediterranean dishes (11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.) tasty afternoon dishes until 5 p.m. and to enjoy the unmistakable creations of the Confiserie Al Porto. Founded in 1803 as a meeting place for politicians, writers, artists and notables, it became Lugano's Salotto. The Restaurant & Café is open from Monday to Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. and delights its guests at any time of day. It is open in the evening for events from 7 p.m., with prior booking, for aperitifs, receptions and dinners, from 12 to 80 persons. The Salotto di Lugano... since 1803.
