History of the business Sangiorgio Silvano e Marco SA, Architects was founded in 1972 by Silvano Sangiorgio. When his son Marco joined in 1995, the legal form of the business became a public limited company. Architect Marco Sangiorgio then became co-owner and sole CEO. Architect Marco Sangiorgio, who graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology under the guidance of Prof Luigi Snozzi, has been a member of the SIA 1995 and of OTIA since 1998. In 1997, this practice was awarded the approval of the Swiss Canton of Ticino to act as a real estate trustee; approval was based on the qualifications of architect Marco Sangiorgio. Organisation and personnel The complementary specialist areas covered by the joint owners, Silvano and Marco Sangiorgio, allow this architects' practice to achieve outstanding performance with regard to design decisions, technical materials, construction and IT support. At the same time, their work is based on decades of experience involving a wide variety of successful projects, which is of fundamental importance in the construction sector.
