The patient mix consists of 51.3% patients with basic insurance, 28.2% with semi-private insurance and 20.5% with private insurance. The Hirslanden Group was formed in 1990 through the merger of several hospitals. Since 2007, it has been part of the international hospital group Mediclinic International plc, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
